A note to Swimming Clubs interested in entering our Open Meet:

This year we will be using the Sportsystem version 5.3 for receipt of electronic entries for our Spring Open Meet being held at Medway Park (formerly Black Lion Leisure Centre) 22 and 23 May 2010. If your club does not have the Sportsystem it can be downloaded from the internet. Please ensure you download the Meet Organisation 5.3 entry manager. The link for download is: www.sportsys.co.uk

You will then need to download the electronic entry meet file containing the events for the BLSC Open meet. This can be obtained from the Black Lion Swimming Club web site. We encourage you to submit your swimmers entries electronically. Club Entry Date File
• The fee per event is £4.50 except the 400m free which will be £5.50. Please note the Sportsystem will calculate the 400 free with the lower fee. You will need to forward the correct payment when posting payment for your entries.

As this is a first come first serve gala and is very popular, BLSC will have a initial closing date of 21 March. Please submit your entries as soon as possible to avoid disappointment of being rejected. This is a good gala for development swimmers and there are no qualifying times. Races are 50m in all four strokes. Please act quickly.

ADMIN FEE
All entries made to galas must include a £1 admin fee. Families with multiple children will be allowed to send one cheque per Gala (and so incur only one fee), but must ensure that all concerned Squad Coaches are aware of this. This will come into effect for all Galas announced or posted onto the website from the 1 December 2007.
